With the exception of the gorgeous Vivo Apex prototype, most smartphone makers at Mobile World Congress 2018 showcased devices that have fingerprint scanners on the back. Doogee, a relatively new smartphone developer from China, decided to up the ante.
The company debuted the Doogee V with the much-anticipated in-screen fingerprint scanner and some decent, but incomplete specs. Just like the in-screen fingerprint scanner, the notch at the top of the phone was a sign that Doogee was trying to stay on top of current smartphone trends.
According to the official website, the Doogee V brings:
- 6.21 inch AMOLED screen with 18:9 ratio and Full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels)
- Dual-camera 16 MP+ 8 MP on the rear with LED flash
- 4,000 mAh battery
- NFC-enabled
- Face ID authentication
At the moment the company hasn’t revealed the chipset used, RAM details, or a price, but there’s still a day left until the MWC 2018 closes its doors, so stay tuned!
