Gamers were supposed to receive their copies of the highly anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake tomorrow. However, the game was delayed to April 10th, prolonging the wait for many eager fans. But good news! Square Enix announced that gamers can play a demo of the game starting today.
According to the official Final Fantasy VII twitter, gamers can download the demo to start playing now. Based on the description from the PlayStation Store, players will go through the first chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake. This is likely an extended edition of demos fans have been playing at game conventions like E3.

Unfortunately, unlike the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon demo, progress won’t transfer over to the full game as gameplay may change. However, one perk of downloading the demo is that you will receive an exclusive PlayStation theme.
The full game is set to release on the PlayStation 4 on April 10th.
