As of now, you have the option to just use your voice if you want to donate to a cause of your choice, thanks to Google Assistant’s newest feature, which has been quietly added to the software by Google recently.
Google Assistant users now can say just “make a donation” or “donate to charity” in order to put the donation process into action. From there on, they will be prompted to select what charity should benefit from their donation and the amount of money they want to send.
They can also directly state, for example: “Hey Google, donate $20 to Task Force for Global Health” and the assistant will do exactly that.
Of course, the users will be prompted to confirm the donation before the process will be completed.
In order to be able to donate, they will need to have the Google Assistant Payments enabled. The feature works on a number of Android and Google Home speakers but some of them might still require the users to access their phones in order to finalize the donation.
