Google Photos is now offering a new subscription service, that for $7.99 a month will print out 10 photos from your library and mail them to you.
AI will automatically pick 10 photos you took in the last 30 days, print them in a 4 x 6-inch size and send them to you. Currently, the service is on trial in the US and selected users can sign up from a banner in Google Photos.
The possibility of printing your photos has been available with Google for some time, but until now you had to pick your own photos and place individual orders. With this new service, the algorithm will pick photos with “people and pets,” “landscapes,” or “a little bit of everything.” You can also edit the selection before it goes to print.
The cost of each photo printed with this subscription comes to $0.79, which is more than the $0.25 Google charges per photo printed with partners Walmart os CVS. However, it can be easy to forget you even took some photos, and this service would drive you to have physical memories of those special moments.
