Holiday season is rapidly approaching, so probably most of you are already planning on the hunt for plane tickets and accommodation. The father of Internet searches, the omnipresent Google, knows that better than anyone so it updated its travel notifications to include alerts on favorable price changes #mobilemagic
Over the next weeks, you’ll discover the update yourself. Based on your search for plane tickets, Google will show you when will the most cheap ones arrive or if the price you’ve seen today will only increase in the following days. To make things simpler, notifications will tell you exactly how much you’d save if you bought them on the spot instead of waiting around.
Historical dates will also help Google direct you to a specific airport or tell you to avoid certain dates (when a price jump is expected). When you make up your mind, it will be easy to manage all of them.
The same will apply to accommodation. The search engine will allow you to filter out hotels based on the deals they’re offering in the period you’re interested in.
One of two things can happen: either this update will make future travel planning much easier, or you’ll get exhausted by Google’s insistence to leave your home.
