“Cheap and cheerful” are definitely the right words to describe the new Honor 7S.
The 7S is Honor’s budget option for those who cannot afford or do not want to invest in something like the View 10, which costs around $589.
The phone offers basic features, such as a 13MP rear camera, equipped with PDAF fast focus tech and a 5MP front camera that comes with an LED ‘selfie light’.
It has enough space for two SIM cards and a microSD slot, alongside a smart managed battery.
And… that’s it.
Alright, in all honesty, the specs are not bad at all – it has a 5.45-inch screen with a 1440 x 720 resolution and it runs on Android 8.1, so it has the ability to pretty much run apps like any other more expensive smartphone. The battery has a capacity of 3,020mAh, so it’s pretty decent.
Overall, the phone looks nice, with a design that would not place it in the low-budget category and honestly, considering the specs for the roughly $130 price tag, you really can’t complain.
