Just days after a TENAA listing revealed the Honor ARE-AL00 smartphone with its huge 7.12-inch display, Honor decided to not play coy and started teasing the device. Meet the Honor 8X. Well, at least the poster for it, which seems to indicate the same cooling as the one featured by the Honor Note 10. The official unveiling will happen a bit later, most likely at IFA Berlin at the end of the month, but we do know what to expect from the Honor 8 X.
The biggest perk is the 7.12-inch screen with a waterdrop notch and an FHD+ resolution, a feature that makes the Honor 8X quite a hefty device. With a 177.57×86.24×8.13mm and 210 g, you will definitely need deep pockets for this one.
On the specs front, the device brings a 16 MP + 5 MP dual rear camera and an 8 MP front camera, a chipset from the Qualcomm 600-series and quite an impressive, 4,900 mAh battery.
Until IFA comes around we’ll probably not know what’s happening on the RAM and storage front but fortunately, the wait won’t be long, so stay tuned for updates.
