Honor Magic 2 Official Photos Are Quite the Visual Feast

Honor spent its IFA keynote just teasing the Honor Magic 2 but now, as the October 31st launch day approaches, it’s not holding anything back.

These newly-released Honor Magic 2 photos show off the sliding mechanism that houses the front-facing cameras behind the screen, a novelty that was implemented in order to avoid the notch. On the back, the Honor Magic 2 looks surprisingly like the Huawei P20 Pro, from the iridescent finish to the triple-camera setup.

While Huawei did not yet talk specs, leaks indicate the flagship Kirin 980 processor and a 6.39-inch screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor and 2340 x 1080 resolution will be present, the phone being powered by a 3,400 mAh battery with fast charge.

Due to the TENAA listing that spilled the beans, we also know that the Kirin 980 chipset will be paired with up to 8 GB of RAM. As for the cameras, the selfie shooter housed in the sliding mechanism is a 16 MP sensor, while the back setup consists of a 24 MP RGB sensor, a 16 MP monochrome sensor and a 16 MP telephoto lens.

The only surprise left for October 31 is the price. Just how much do you think the Honor Magic 2 will be? Let’s just hope it’s a treat, not a sticker shock!
