If you’re on the prowl for a new fitness tracker, Huawei is ready to bring not only one but two your way, for no more than $30.
The Honor Band 4 has a 100mAh battery which, according to the company, is capable of offering up to 6 days worth of battery while it continuously measures the user’s heart rate, thanks to the Huawei TruSeen 2.0 heart rate technology.
In addition to that, the wearable will also come equipped with Huawei TruSleep 2.0, which monitors your sleep and can offer personalised sleep recommendations.
The Honor Band 4 comes with a 0.95 inch AMOLED screen with a nicely 2.5D curved glass on the top. It has a round Home button on the front and it is water resistant for up to 50 meters. Overall, it measures 43×17.2×11.5mm and weighs 23 grams.
As far as connectivity goes, the Honor Band 4 has a Bluetooth 4.2 and it can be paired with a smartphone via the Huawei Health app. The sensors it packs on board include a PPG heart rate sensor, an infrared sensor and a 6-axis gyroscope.
Honor also brings to the table the Honor Band 4 Running Edition. It has fewer features than the Band 4, in order to keep the price tag low – it will cost around $15 – but it has a PMOLED display and, thanks to a much smaller, 77mAh battery, it can offer up to 12 days worth of working time. It will come in Black, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green and Pink color options.
It can measure cadence, step length, ground contact time, swing angle and more thanks to the 6-axis sensor it has incorporated and it is also water resistant to up to 50 meters.
Both devices will be up for sale in China starting September 20th.
