Google is now offering you three new ways to order food without a delivery app, one of them being Google Search.
Thee company has partnered up with delivery companies like DoorDash, Postmates and ChowNow but Google says that it will add support for other delivery services like Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and more.
You can now order food from any of these companies and more, without having to download their apps or even visit their website.
You’ll find the new feature in Google Search and Google Maps in the shape of a new button titled “Order Online” that will pop up whenever you search for a restaurant.
From there, you can select pickup and delivery and, if the restaurant has support for it, your entire order will be dealt with entirely through the Google interface.
The Google Assistant option functions in a similar way: you ask the Assistant to order food from your restaurant of choice and it will guide you through all the food selections via the Google interface.
You can also ask it to go ahead with a repeat order you’ve made before too, just in case you’re very specific about what you like. Or just feeling lazy.
