Google and HTC are planning to make this Black Friday memorable. Instead of an outstanding promotion, the companies are offering HTC 10 users Android Nougat, as a token of gratitude #softwaremagic
It’s official – HTC is rolling an update today that is going to allow HTC 10 users to upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The announcement was made by HTC VP of Product Management on Twitter: “Happy Thanksgiving! HTC 10 unlocked owners will receive Nougat OS update tomorrow morning! Enjoy!”
Indeed, the update is available only for unlocked HTC 10 devices. If you update today, you’ll get a chance to try Google Assistant, Instant Apps and other features that have previously been available to a handful of devices. The company plans to extend this update offering to “HTC One M9, unlocked HTC One A9 and carrier versions of these devices through early next year”.
