Next year, Apple might expand its iPad line with a couple more versions, featuring different sizes and shapes #mobilemagic
Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who always has all the good dish on Apple products and launches, has made a report regarding the future of iPads. After surprising sales results this year, the analyst believes Apple will launch at least two more tablets, one of 10.5-inches and the other of 12.9 inches, making sure everyone finds their right fit.
These two will probably come with the best the company can offer, the 10nm, A10X processor we all expect, while another smaller, 9.7 inches iPad will sport the A9X. This little one will probably become the low-cost variant of the bunch. What’s interesting is that Kuo didn’t just stress the probability of Apple releasing all-sizes iPads but the chance that in 2018, new models will feature “[new] form factor design” and even a flexible AMOLED display.
The time of tablets has come.
