If you’re part of the generation who used to spend its days and nights gaming in the early 2000’s with the classic MX518 Logitech mouse, you’ll most likely have some nice memories about that mouse and some of you might have even wondered if you could get your hands on it again – not only for the sake of ergonomics but also perhaps because you were feeling a little nostalgic.
Well, I have some good news for you: Logitech decided to bring back the MX518. Sort of.
Let me clarify: the body is more or less the same (it has a new finish called ‘Nightfall’) but its insides have been brought up to date.
You’ll find a 16,000DPI Hero sensor at its core, alongside a 32-bit ARM processor with a 1ms report rate. You can also customize eight -button layouts as well, which means that you can switch PCs without losing your initial settings or installing any custom software.
If you just can’t wait to get your nostalgic little hands on it, the mouse is already up for pre-order with a price tag of $60.
