Leaked Xperia XZ3 Image Shows A Phone Without Dual Rear Camera

Credit: MySmartPrice

The leaked render of the phone was found by mysmartprice and it shows the front and back side of the device.

The handset seems to have a curved back design with a fingerprint sensor in the centre but, though the XZ2 Premium model of the line features dual rear cameras, the leaked render shows that the XZ3 features just one. It might prove to be a 48MP camera, which could be an explanation.

Above the camera lens we can spot a sensor, which is assumed to be Sony’s own hybrid autofocus sensor. The sensor combines phase-detection and laser-assisted autofocus.

On the front, the phone features an 18:9 notch-free display and thin bezels on both the top and the bottom part.

There is a dual-tone LED flash and NFC antenna we can point out too. On the right side there are the volume keys, the camera shutter and the power button.

There have been no specs leaked along with the image but rumors say that the XZ3 will be powered by a Qualcomm 845 chipset and is expected to have 5GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

We’ll find out pretty soon though, because Sony might announce the device during the IFS convention in Berlin next week.
