If you haven’t yet upgraded your workstation or gaming PC, perhaps wait a bit more.
The biggest Ultra model so far measured 34 inches but the LG UltraWide Monitor (49WL95) is a 49-inch behemoth with a 32:9 aspect ratio, which is basically two screens in one.
With 5120 x 1440 p resolution and 108 ppi, it offers a resolution somewhere between 2K and 4K, which is more than enough for a workstation that traditionally used multiple screens.
For gamers, LG is launching the UltraGear Gaming Monitor which, of course, offers an uncompromising 4K display with 144 Hz refresh rate.
With a 21:9 aspect ratio and Sphere Lighting technology, which is ambient light from the back of the monitor that reduces eye fatigue, the UltraGear Gaming Monitor is a tempting curved screen.
Stay tuned for our impressions, we’ll try to put these monitors to the test starting January 5th.
