LG Innotek’s Latest Wireless Charger Delivers 50% Battery In 30 Minutes

Wireless, embedded charging is trending these days, seemingly simplifying your life from within a device. When it comes to speed though… it doesn’t measure up to the wired chargers on the market. LG Innotek has found a way to charge a battery to 50% (from 0%) in just half an hour! The company says it is possible after boosting the transmission power from 5W to 15W, comparable now to technologies like Quick Charge.

Don’t worry – many devices could benefit from their development. The wireless modules take into account current standards, supporting 15w WPC and 5W PMA. They will work out with most smartphones, for example, no matter the brand.

LG Innotek will start mass production of their new modules this year.
