Meet the Tiny Eachine E56 Drone

Credit: Eachine

Eachine Direct, who sells via Amazon is currently selling the Eachine E56 folding drone for just $29.99. Its usual price is $50 and apparently the price never dropped below $40.

The drone comes with an accelerometer-powered remote, HD camera and a carrying case.

It’s quite tiny (and cute) and, as with most smaller drones, you can get around 6 to 7 minutes of flight time out of it. The remote has four function buttons, aside from the joystick, but unfortunately none of them are labeled in any way so there will be a bit of a learning curve going on there. But it’s just four buttons, at the end of the day.

It does not have any blade guards by the way, so it’s not the safest drone to use indoors, just so you know.

A Review of the Eachine E56 Drone from user RC Escape on Youtube

Reportedly, the camera has an outer edge blurring action going on, which does not make it the most fit device for aerial photography, at least not on the level of a drone that sells from $1000 upwards, but it can still take some decent shots. It’s not the most precise or the best of the drones out there, sure, but it’s fun as a starter drone and definitely something pretty cool for kids to play around with.
