Asus is on a roll! The company not only unveiled a kick-ass smartphone series at the press conference held today, but also a laptop thinner, lighter and – believe it or not – more powerful than Apple’s famous MacBooks #hardwaremagic
ZenBook 3 is only 11.9mm thick and weighs 910g, that’s 10gr less than the MacBook. As thin and light as it is, Asus still managed to prep it for perfectionists and skeptics with a Core i7 processor! Equally important is the possibility of having a version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of solid state disk storage. Take into consideration the fact that the gadget comes with a 12.5-inch display and almost invisible bezels and you get super performance in a paper-thin portable computer.
Of course, this will set you back $1,999 but… you can try out a more budget-friendly version for $999 and still get a Core i5 processor 😉 The good news doesn’t end here. ZenBook 3 has a screen-to-body ratio of 82 percent, a fingerprint sensor that works with Windows Hello authentication and extremely fast recharge times, dreamy features that almost make you forget Apple has its own army of portable computers.
According to Microsoft’s Windows Blog, you will be able to buy the attractive ZenBook 3 “in Q3 this summer.”
