The Mi Max 3 and the Mi A2 launch are just around the corner but that did not stop a leaked Mi 8 Explorer Edition poster from surfacing online.
The image appeared via MyDrivers and it suggests that the phone will go on sale on July 24 in China. Global availability is not known at the moment.
To remind you, the Mi 8 features a notch that is similar to the iPhone X and it will have a 6.21-inch OLED screen from Samsung and a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
It’s known that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor and the company has claimed that the Mi 8 is the first phone to use dual-frequency GPS in order to deliver more accurate location data.
The Mi 8 will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and it will reportedly be the first Android-driven phone to use 3D face recognition technology.

The smartphone might cost around $555, according to the leaked poster, but we cannot be sure how authentic the image is to begin with, until we hear more from Xiaomi.
