On May 17, the gaming phenomenon that captured young and older players alike, Minecraft, celebrates its ten year anniversary.

As a nod to the fans who experienced Minecraft since its infancy, you can now play Minecraft Classic in browser, for free.

“With just 32 blocks to build with, all the original bugs, and an (inter)face only a mother could love, Minecraft 2009 is even more glorious than we remembered,” says Mojang.

The company is also inviting fans to share their Minecraft memories with them, even “that time you decided to buy Terraria instead”.

If you’re feeling nostalgic, you can play Minecraft Classic right here.

If you also want to take a trip down memory lane or just admire some awe-inspiring Minecraft builds from days past, #MinecraftMemories is the hashtag to host it all.

Mojang also started a Minecraft Instagram contest that could end up with you visiting the Minecraft Exhibition in Seattle. You have until May 17 to sign up, so good luck!
