The Moto G7 Play will probably arrive in April 2018, as the G6 line was launched in April of this year, but that didn’t stop FCC from spilling the beans months in advance.
The biggest change from the previous model is the inclusion of a notch like the one on the Motorola One, alongside the repositioning of the fingerprint reader on the back.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 450 is replaced by a faster Snapdragon 632 processor paired with the Adreno 506 GPU.
The nice news is that the Moto G7 Play will still retain the headphone jack, have a microSD slot and a USB-C port for charging the decent-sized 2820 mAh battery.
The model number XT1952 listed on FCC reveals that the Moto G7 Play will come in black and silvery blue color options. At this point, the only thing we need to know is the launch date and exact pricing.
