Amazon just debuted the 2021 Echo Buds, a new model that’s 21% smaller than the previous model and has shorter nozzles.
Not only they’ll be comfier but their $120 price tag means that they’re cheaper than most ANC earbuds (active noise cancellation) in general.
Amazon also promises that the ANC mode is twice as effective than on the old Echo Buds, using Alexa to turn it on and off or activate Passthrough mode for better awareness.
There’s also a “VIP filter” that lets you pick which notifications ring in your buds via priority contacts.
As for the battery, you’ll get up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge and up to 15 with the case.
Still, the best part of the 2nd gen Echo buds is definitely the new charging port. You’ll top them up using USB-C, so your regular phone cable will do the trick. Oh yeah, and a 15-minute charge is enough for 2 hours of playback!
The new Amazon Echo Buds are already up for sale but they will start delivering in May. There’s a sweet early bird discount that lets you have them for just $100 and it’s hard to deny – this is a pretty sweet deal.
