While you’re still getting mixed reviews about iPhone SE on your Facebook timeline and you’re hunting for news about iPhone 7, Apple is already planning its next model for 2017 (iPhone 8). We’ve heard this fall will bring us a no-headphone-jack, maybe no-home-button device, but famous leaker Ming-Chi Kuo thinks next year’s handset will be more exciting.

The KGI analyst that spilled the beans on iPhone SE is back with some potential great rumors. He thinks next year Apple will really impress users with a curved front screen and back as well as AMOLED display.  The company could also employ glass for its case, instead of plastic or ceramic.

Kuo also believes the new iPhone will boast wireless charging, something more and more mobile companies are inclined to develop (Samsung being one of the first to comercialize it) as well as… iris scanning and face recognition. Apple will probably take it up a notch in the security department after leading the herd with its Touch ID fingerprint authentication system.

Considering Tim Cook’s attention to data privacy in the last couple of months, it’s no wonder he would make biometrics a priority.
