It appears the Nintendo may have accidentally leaked the box art for the upcoming Nickelodeon cartoon fighter, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
According to Kotaku, the game’s box art was leaked through the Nintendo Switch eShop. In previous renders of the box art, all the characters were silhouetted. While many correctly speculated that Aang and Korra were two of the yet-to-be announced characters, this leaked box art both confirms Aang and Korra’s inclusion in the game, but also reveals another unannounced character: Ren & Stimpy.
CatDog and April O’Neil from CatDog and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, respectively, were the two most recently announced characters. Other characters, like Spongebob, Nigel Thornbery, and Reptar, were shown during the reveal trailer.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was recently announced with a trailer featuring several of the cartoon channel’s most iconic characters. One thing that stood out about the announcement was that developer’s Ludosity has experience making successful platform fighters, namely Slap City. With this history and an initial trailer demonstrating how closely Ludosity was drawing from source material, it is no wonder that many are eagerly waiting for the launch of the Nickelodeon-inspired fighter.
