Realme is hard at work: the company is set on revealing a number of products on September 9, including but not limited to a Realme Pocket Speaker and a Realme Pad. Most of these products have benefitted from a number of leaks in the last couple of weeks but now, at long last, we have some information about the company’s upcoming smartphones.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth already teased the fans earlier this week with a photo of the Realme 8S, revealing the smartphone’s rear design, along with a triple camera setup and a fingerprint scanner set on the side.
To that image we can now add a leak coming from leakster Debayan Roy, who showed a photo of the full specifications of the upcoming devices.

To begin with, the Redmi 8I will have a 6.5-inch FHD screen with a 120Hz LCD display. Under the hood, we’ll find a MTK Helio G96 chipset, accompanied by a 5,000mAh battery and 18W wired charging.
In terms of cameras, we’ll find a 16MP selfie snapper on the front and a 50MP main camera on the back, alongside a 2MP+2MP combination of secondary cameras.
The smartphone will come in 4GB + 64GB or 6GB +128GB memory combinations, with the ability to expand it up to 10GB.
It will come in Space Black and Space Purple color options.
The Realme 8S on the other hand, will have a 6.5 inch FHD screen with a 90Hz LCD. This device stands out because it will be the first handset to have the Dimensity 810 SoC under the hood.
It will come in two variants of 6GB + 128GB or 8GB + 128GB, with the possibility of expanding up to 13GB.
It, too, has a 5,000mAh battery and 33W wired charging capabilities.
It will be available in Universe Blue and Universe Purple color options.
We currently don’t have any information regarding global availability or pricing but, with a launch date just around the corner, we’ll know more soon.
