The Galaxy Watch appeared on the company’s website for a brief moment earlier today, before it was swiftly taken out, leaving an error page behind. Fortunately, the product was captured as a still on time.
The listing did not reveal any release date info or the price for it but we do know that the device will come as a 42mm rose gold version and that it has a more sleek look to it than the “Gear” smartwatches the company has been offering.
Rumor is Samsung is moving away from the “Gear” smartwatches and that the Galaxy Watch might be powered by Wear OS. It also seems that it might come with Bluetooth but that is pretty much everything anyone can take from the listing, at best.
We don’t know when the smartwatch will be announced, but our best guess is that it will happen during the Samsung event on August 9. We’ll likely see it at IFA Berlin as well, so make sure you tune in at the end of the month for our live coverage!
