Samsung just upgraded their mid-range Windows 10 laptops, bringing premium features with the launch of Notebook 5 and the Notebook 3. While these laptops provide a cheaper alternative to the powerful Samsung Notebook 9, they still bring Samsung’s high quality and performance to products more focused on everyday use and computing.
Both the Notebook 5 and Notebook 3 have full keyboards with ergonomically crafted keys and screens outfitted with anti-glare panels. They’re pretty slim too, coming it at under 20 mm thickness and adding at most only 4.34 lbs to your laptop bag.
The Notebook 5 brings a 15.6″, 1080p screen housed in a more premium-looking metal body. It comes with a Nvidia MX150 graphics card and users can choose either the Intel 7th generation dual core processor or an 8th gen quad-core.
Meanwhile, the Notebook 3 is offered in two versions – one with a 15.6″ inch screen version and another with a 14″ one. The same processing options are available for the Notebook 3 as the Notebook 5, but the 15.6″ Notebook 3 has the option for the slightly less powerful, but more budget Nvidia MX110 graphics card. The 14″ Notebook 3 only has an integrated graphics card.
Both Samsung laptops will launch this month in South Korea and will hit the global market in the second quarter of the year.
