The Samsung J4 and J6 have already been released earlier in May this year but it seems that Samsung wants to deliver us the ‘plus’ variants of the devices as well, aimed for the budget user.
These plus versions, the Galaxy J6+ and the Galaxy J4+, will have a screen similar to that of the high-end models and an Infinity Display that will offer a larger viewing area.
Based on the information floating around online, the J6+ will have a 6-inch screen with HD+ resolution (1480 × 720 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Both phones will be available in different colors including red, blue, black and gray and the frame will most likely be plastic.
As far as hardware features go, the Galaxy J6+ should come with a Snapdragon 425, 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage, a microSD slot and a 3,300mAh battery. Most likely, it will run Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Galaxy J4+ on the other hand will definitely come with a smaller screen but will have the same the dual rear camera its higher-end sibling has. Samsung confirmed two other interesting features: a lateral fingerprint reader and an Emotify feature, most likely a tamed-down version of Samsung’s AR Emoji.
Most of the specs for the J4+ are unknown but they’ll most likely come around in the next few days.
