If you’re a wildlife/sports photographer or you’re used to chasing celebrities in your paparazzo time, then you pay special attention to the zoom capabilities of a camera. For guys like you, Sony released the RX10 III, a Cyber-shot with 24-600 mm lens! If that’s not #fotomagic, I don’t know what is!
The new model comes with a Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 24-600mm (f/2.4-4) fixed lens, a major improvement from the previous product in the line. Imagine that, combined with a 20.1-megapixel, 1-inch type stacked sensor, an ISO range of 64-12,800 and a Bionz X processor – you will end up with some amazing shots, no doubt.
The superzoom lens has built-in OIS and an aperture system imagined to form an almost perfect circle, in the f2.4-11 range. Expect video recording in 4K (3,840 x 2,160) and slow motion shooting from 240fps to 960fps.
The Sony RX10 III will be available at $1,500 in US and $2000 in Canada around May and £1,250 in UK earlier, this month.
