After three years of waiting, Stranger Things fans have now reasons to celebrate because Netflix is finally communicated a release date for Season 4. The new season’s tagline is “Every ending has a beginning”, and according to the creators, it was the most challenging season so far.
“With nine scripts, over eight hundred pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one. Everyone involved is incredibly proud of the results, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Given the unprecedented length, and to get it to you as soon as possible, Season 4 will be released in two volumes.”
The streaming service has announced that Stranger Things season 4 will have two release dates because it will consist of two volumes.
Volume 1 comes on May 27th, while the second one will be launched on July 1st. The announcement on social media came with a note from the Duffer Brothers saying that the fourth season is “nearly twice the length”.
Lastly, the brothers revealed there will be a Stranger Things season 5, the last one of the nostalgic thriller.
