Auto-enthusiasts have waited for this moment for a few years and that wait is almost over: the Porsche Taycan, the company’s first EV, will be fully revealed on September 4.
To drive up excitement, Porsche released a couple of gorgeous interior shots of the Taycan which let you see what it would be like to be behind the wheel of this EV.
And yes, it’s a glass cockpit that wouldn’t look out of place in a business jet.
Porsche will deliver the Taycan EV with two standard touchscreen.
You have the curved 16.8-inch digital instrument cluster easily visible through the steering wheel, with touch sensitive edges that let you access all functions.
For those who want passengers to enjoy the same experience as the driver, Porsche will also sell an optional third display for the passenger side of the dashboard.
On the middle of the Taycan console, Porsche included an 8.4-inch touchscreen with haptic feedback and, to extend the same courtesy to passengers in the back, there’s an option to put a 5.9-inch panel there too.
Of course, there’s no way of knowing just how much that will cost.
Porsche has previously stated the Taycan will start off at around $90,000 but the full details get here at the September 4 reveal.
