The Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2XL Cannot Be Purchased From The Google Store Anymore

The Pixel 2 came out back in 2017 and, according to a lot of users, the phone is still going strong, with a solid number of satisfied customers vouching for it. While the phone encountered a few problems when it was launched partially due to its large display and some issues with dull colors (an issue which was subsequently fixed), the phone did produce some amazing photos.

However, it looks like Google believes the smartphone has been in the spotlight for too long and has pulled out the device from the company’s online shop.

The link for the Pixel 2 listing on the Google store, when accessed, it redirects you towards the Pixel 3 page and, while the ‘Phones’ section has all the listings for the Pixel 3 phone and accessories, it does not show the Pixel 2 at all anymore.

It’s also worth nothing that the company has been hacking prices left and right for the phone since a while ago, even discounting it for Valentine’s Day, in what looks like an effort to rid itself of the remaining stock. If you still have your eyes on one, don’t worry: there’s a number of third-party sellers that still have it.

If you’re considering the Pixel 2 a thing of the past though, the Pixel 3 is currently dropping $200 from the original selling price.

The models you can find on the Google store are carrier-unlocked and both Pixel 3 models feature a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB RAM, 64 or 128GB internal storage (without a microSD card slot though), a 12.2 MP main sensor and dual 8 MP selfie shooters.
