This Wedding Photographer Actually Delivers A Message With Her Drone Shots

All wedding photos focus on the same thing: the groom and bride’s smiles, the way they look at eachother, their friends and beautiful outfits. Close-ups are common and therefore, tend to get boring. But one photographer switched it up a bit by using drones instead of regular DSLRs #actionmagic

Helene Havard started working with a drone operator (Flying Pictures) to get another side of couples in love: “I wanted to be able to embed my couple in the purity of their wedding moment and wanted them to be surrounded by the beauty of places and always in deserted places”.

Instead of blurring everything else, but the bride and groom, Havard’s pictures include and highlight their surroundings. Although the wide perspective makes it more public, they seem lost, alone and happy between palm trees or swiming in the infinite ocean.

“They are together but alone in the world at the same time” – well, isn’t that romantic?

Check her drone photography here – it might inspire you to use your own in a creative way.
