Tomb Raider Series to Make Debut on Switch in 2022

Lara Croft and Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will bring series protagonist Lara Craft to the Nintendo Switch for the first time!

As reported by VGC and Nintendo Life, these two games will be ported to the Switch as part of Tomb Raider’s 25^th Anniversary Celebration.

The two games are described as “arcade-inspired action-adventure games that combine that hallmarks of Tomb Raider, including exploration and discovery, platforming, and puzzle solving, with co-operative multiplayer, character progression and fun fast-paced combat.”

However, both games are spin-offs from the main Tomb Raider series. Their play styles are slightly different, using isometric viewpoints and multiplayer puzzle solving. In co-op, partners have different abilities to help navigate the tombs.

These ports are expected to be available in 2022.
