Future Samsung Tvs will comes with built-in Steam Link so you don’t have to bother with a separate piece of hardware #hardwaremagic
Valve announced the change at the Dev Days event. The Steam Link box will be integrated in future TVs made by Samsung so you can stream PC games easier. Instead of working with cables and stuff, you’ll be able to switch it on from settings. Also, one HDMI slot will be set free.
The only thing that might give you a headache still is the PC – you’re going to need serious gear – and controller for game streaming. Plus, don’t rely on a Wi-Fi connection; you might find it insufficient for your Internet needs.
If you missed the Valve event, you probably didn’t find out about the 10,000 games prepared on Steam and the bigger news is that you’ll soon discover native Dualshock 4 support. With that in the cards, developers will support it better on PC and do button mapping easier.
