The next generation Vivo Apex phone will be revealed in China in a short while and a new video leak that appeared on Weibo suggests that the upcoming smartphone will not feature any ports or buttons.
The video confirms a previous render image created by Venya Geskin that showcased a phone with no front camera and a full-coverage display. It featured a silver back with two cameras and an LED flash.
In the photos, just like in the video, there are no visible buttons that we can make out. According to all sources, the new Apex design aims to go full wireless when it comes to charging and it will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and pressure sensitive buttons.
As far as the front camera goes, there’s no hint about it anywhere. If anything, we can expect the phone to feature a pop-up selfie camera, though we can’t see a trace of a top placement for it in the video or the image.
The Vivo Apex will debut on January 24th in China and the company will most likely introduce it to the rest of the world during the Mobile World Congress, which will take place next month.
