A better, simpler Android interface?
Smartphone maker Vivo will soon introduce their take on Android, with Origin OS set to launch on November 18th.
On November 19th, Vivo will also host their own developer conference, VDC 2020.
Since the Origin OS is the main star in the company’s schedule, it will get its very own event.
The company set out invites for this for November 18th but did not provide any further details.
What is Vivo’s Origin OS?
In short, since we’re all short on details, is that it’s a replacement for Funtouch OS.
Hopefully, it’s a better experience than stock Android, though no one knows exactly what this smartphone operating system will do or what it will look like.
The only rumor we’ve seen so far claims that it will be very easy to switch from Origin OS to Android (and vice-versa) but so far Vivo has kept the project tightly under wraps.
Fortunately, since the event happens next week, we’ll know more shortly.
