Vivo, Pushing The Limits Again With Tony Stark-Inspired Transparent Phone

2016 is slowly becoming the best year in Vivo’s life. After scoring a place in top 5 vendors worldwide and becoming the most performant phone as of May,  Vivo made our Monday morning with a teaser of a transparent handset straight from Tony Stark’s hands in “Captain America: Civil War” #mobilemagic 

Let me explain: the poster shows actor and model Song Zhongji holding a smartphone with a transparent display in his hands. We’re calling it transparent since you can clearly see the actor’s face through the screen. There’s some talk about lucky number “7”, so we’re hoping this is a future Vivo smartphone, probably part of the X-series. Hey, if anyone can pull that off, it has to be Vivo, one smartphone brand that has impressed us in the last year with beautiful hardware.

The smartphone is clearly inspired by Tony Stark’s phone in the latest Captain America, but it loses the black rim around the display. Yet, just last week, another photo was leaked from Vivo, presumably, and showed a functional concept that is much more similar to the one IronMan had:

That said, it would almost be a miracle if Vivo manages to launch such a device at the beginning of next year, considering we’re still at the point of making smartphones slimmer and touchscreens flexible.
