It may be mid-range but it has the look of a flagship! Vivo Z5x just launched with a sleek design and a punch-hole selfie cam, surprising Vivo fans.
The smartphone looks like the trendiest flagship on the market right now, with a beautiful screen covering most of the front panel and just a bottom bezel that doesn’t bother us too much. The in-display camera is placed on the top left corner, unlike the Galaxy S10 series.
The Z5x comes in three colors as we expected: Aurora, Extreme Night Black, and Phantom Black.
Also, the phone has dual-SIM (Nano) and runs on Android 9 Pie, customized with Funtouch OS as always. Its 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display has a 19.5:9 side ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and features an enormous 5,000mAh battery.
The triple rear cam you can see in the pictures comes with an 16-megapixel main shooter with f/1.78 aperture. It also integrates an 8MP ultra-wide-angle digicam with f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel depth cam.
The selfie camera is also a 16MP shooter with f2.2 aperture. You have 64GB/128GB storage – expandable – to store your media and up to 8GB of RAM, depending on the model you choose.
A typical volume rocker paired with a power key can be found on the right side of the phone. You will also find fingerprint reader on the back cover, which is 100% glass-made.
Vivo Z5 starts from 1,398 yuan (~$202) with 4GB+64GB of storage and goes up to 1,998 yuan (~$289) for the 8GB+128GB varian. You can pre-order it on Vivo’s official website or wait to go on sale this June 1st.
