If somehow, along the way, you realized battery life might just be more important than other flashy features for smartphones, then it’s high time you met Asus Zenfone 4 Max. The company is debuting the new phone in Russia with a huge battery cell #mobilemagic
Asus Zenfone 4 Max is more than a mid-ranger with good looks. It carries a huge, flagship-level 5,000 mAh battery that should last you more than most phones already on the market. Besides, the phone offers a power saving mode, in case you really deplete it after hours of gaming. That said, once you’re out of juice, you’ll have to spend 4 hours to get it back to 100%. But Asus loves to mention that after 15 minutes of charge, you’re good to go for three hours.
But you can’t buy a phone just for its battery, no matter how impressive it is. So, Asus didn’t fail to add other attractive hardware like 4GB of RAM, a 13MP dual camera with 120° field of view and 5.5” display. Under the hood, you’ll find a Snapdragon 430 or Snapdragon 425 processor, depending on the option you’ll settle for. As for internal storage, you’ll be happy to know that you can go for up to 64GB, that can be further extended with the help of a microSD card.
So, what’s the price of this Android 7.0 smartphone? In Russia, at least, Asus plans to sell a Snapdragon 435 configuration with 2Gb of RAM for RUB 13,900 ($235/€205). There’s no way to tell what are the other markets the manufacturer is eyeing or the prices for those, yet.
