Hatsune Miku, the most popular vocaloid in Japan, has left the concert stage to perform on a much smaller platform. We’re talking about a modified PC case that gives the illusion of a trapped Hatsune Miki dancing the night away #hardwaremagic
At a recent show in Osaka, the PC case was displayed after making waves this summer in Tokyo. Indeed, the virtual idol appears to sing and move inside the personal computer thanks to some tricks. The biggest of them is the addition of a clear LCD panel that makes the experience believable.
This is mounted on the side panel, while the rest of the case has been remodeled to resemble a dance stage.
Thanks to the presence of the panel, once you get tired of the famous character, you can project other things on it as well. Your desktop can appear clear as day there, as well.
It’s not the first time when Hatsune Miku makes a gadget more appealing. Xiaomi has previously released a limited edition smartphone with a case and powerbank custom-made after her. The Hatsune Miku Redmi Note 4X was launched this year, on Valentine’s Day. It sported a green shade that matched the hologram idol’s hair and accessories that remind fans of her. The rest of specs and features were identical to those present on the original Redmi Note 4X.
