Famous leaker Evan Blass and MySmartPrice just posted a leaked promo video for the Nokia 9 PureView, HMD Global’s next flagship, revealing a whopping 5 camera setup on the back, with Zeiss lenses as usual.
Even better, the rear fingerprint reader was removed, with the Nokia 9 PureView to feature an in-display fingerprint reader on its 5.99-inch screen.
Seeing as both of these outlets have a great track record in spilling the beans, the 5 cameras on the Nokia 9 are pretty much confirmed at this point, with multiple leaks revealing the same setup.
According to the video, the generous setup on the back captures five simultaneous shots with “10x more light” for “stunning crisp HDR photography.”
You should also expect Nokia 9 PureView to let you refocus the depth of field after a shot. The video also shows off Snapdragon 845, the most powerful processor Nokia went with so far, and Qi Wireless Charging, something fans have long asked for.
Right now, there’s no word on when the Nokia 9 PureView will be officially announced and launched.
We’d expect to hear more about it at CES 2019 but some sources claim that the end of January will bring the official reveal.
