Google is now making it possible for users to buy a train ticket or pay for parking through its Google Maps app, helping you cover more aspects of your trip.

The company is integrating Passport and ParkMobile, two parking payment services, into the Google Maps app, allowing users to find, pay for, and replenish parking meters or parking lot fees. The feature will be available in over 400 cities across the US. The feature will firstly become available to Android users, with iPhone users following shortly.

Google says:

Simply tap on the “Pay for Parking” button that appears as you near your destination. Then enter your meter number, the amount of time you want to park for, and tap “Pay.” Need to add more time to your meter? Easily extend your parking session with just a few taps.

The same feature will be available for purchasing public transportation tickets. Users will get an option to buy a ticket if it’s available when searching for a journey. As for paying for parking, users will need to have a Google Pay account linked to a valid credit or debit card to make the transaction.
