It’s not long now until Samsung’s Unpacked event on August 5th, where we will get to see the new Galaxy Note 20 Series. Part of this family is the Galaxy Note Ultra, previously thought to be called Plus, which is now confirmed by regulatory papers filed by Samsung.
In a certification awarded by Indonesian Telecom, a device by the handle SM-985F is named Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, thus confirming what we thought to be the Note 20 Plus.
Going further, in records posted in the FCC database there appears to be another model certified and ready for launch, the SM-N985F. This seems to be a 4G LTE-only Galaxy Note 20, which is most likely an Exynos version for the international market where not everyone is so keen on 5G.
As we are getting closer to the launch event more and more details will surface about the Note 20 Series, if Samsung likes it or not. We know a bit about the Note 20 Ultra’s camera, which likely to be the 108MP with a periscope lens with up to 50x zoom.
Also, a few months ago we got to see some renders of the new Galaxy Note Ultra. The design of the device isn’t that much different from what Samsung is used to offer.
