The Vivo Y95 smartphone got officially launched in the Philippines today, just a day after the device was revealed in a hands-on leak.
The phone has a 6.22 inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The launch confirms the fact that the phone will come with a Snapdragon 439 under the hood, the same SoC we can find on the Vivo Y93.
The Y95 has 4GB RAM and 64GB worth of internal storage which can be upgraded via a microSD card slot. It has a 4,030mAh battery.
As far as cameras go, the device has a 13 megapixel + 2 megapixel dual camera setup on the back, accompanied by a fingerprint scanner. On the front, we can find a 20 megapixel selfie shooter that comes with AI and face beauty capabilities and also benefits from face unlock.
The phone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and in color variants like Starry Night and Aurora Red,
As far as pricing goes, the phone goes for 13,999 PHP, which roughly translates to $262 after conversion and, at the moment, we don’t know if the device will become more widely available – for now you can only buy it in the Philippines and India.
