Today, most users of the Facebook family of apps had issues connecting to those platforms.

The Facebook, Instagram and Messenger downtime lasted for a few hours, creating widespread confusion about what’s happening.

Facebook confirmed the issues on Twitter and assured users that it’s working to solve them.

We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
