With July over in less than a week, we’re starting to smell Apple in the air. The iPhone 7 reveal is approaching fast and rumors are getting louder by the day, with Chinese sources betting everything they have on them. One of the latest leaks comes from Weibo, where a Chinese posted a video showcasing the iPhone 7 versus the iPhone 6S #mobilemagic
If you hit play, you’ll see the apparent smartphone is “missing” a headphone jack, smart connector ports, yet features camera extrusion and invisible antenna lines, things we’ve heard about dozens of times in the past months. Still, we’re not convinced by the video. The way the user avoids showing the display, focusing only on the rear shell, is a bit suspicious, to say the least.
Our theory is that this is simply a mockup of the iPhone 7 and not the first at that. Another one was said to be manufactured after blueprints of the allegedly new iPhone.
It’s not surprising that folks are wasting time and resources on making this videos, since case manufacturers, for example, are dying to find out the truth about upcoming smartphones, especially iPhones, to get a head start in the industry.
