Not to be outdone by Asus’ ROG Mothership mega-announcement at CES 2019, Acer also displayed its own showstopper: the 2-in-1 Triton 900 with a 4K 17-inch display.
Packing the RTX 2080 GPU, an Intel Core i7 CPU and up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, the Triton 900 is capable of handling even the most demanding PC games.
As a bonus, it has a built-in Xbox controller receiver and a Waves NX head tracking module for impeccable 3D audio.
However, what makes it stand out is the customizable design, which lets you use it in four different ways.
The Ezel Aero Hinge can flip between four modes – you can flip the screen backward, use it as a tablet, use it as a classic laptop or make it look like an easel.
Unlike its competitors, the Acer Triton 900 also manages to keep a somewhat slim profile, coming in at .94 inches in thickness, which means it’s easier to haul around.
The only thing that’s really heavy is the price tag. The Triton 900 will start at $3,999 when it launches on March 15.
