All Trailers and Announcements at Gamescom Opening Night Live

[adrotate group = “15”]

Normally, the gaming world’s eyes would turn to Germany for Gamescom, the biggest gaming convention. Yet, given the global pandemic, Gamescom has gone digital with the opening night festivities just happening.

The online opening night was surely not like any other, with a large focus set on game play trailers and game announcements. Two of the biggest games talked about were Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Season 2. While Call of Duty had previously been announced, gamers heard from developers that the campaign will have multiple endings. This is interesting for a Call of Duty game because there is player choice in how the game progresses.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Season 2 takes the physics-based platform elimination game and adds a medieval theme. Costumes and level designs take inspiration from the medieval aesthetics. One game, for example, is moving blocks in order to climb multiple castle walls, while another has players jumping across moats and through hoops.

Most other announcements, however, were either more gameplay footage for a game already know or an announcement trailer with little exposition. Here is everything else featured:
