Alphabet’s Two-Legged Robot Could Replace PA In The Future

In #todaymagic, one of the companies owned by Alphabet, Schaft, showed its progress on a bipedal robot that could replace the need for personal assistants in the future.

The two-legged robot is pretty efficient and extremely careful with the objects around him, as well as your order.

Schaft managed to make him stable on different terrains, including snow, pebbles and dirt. It also enabled him to carry effortlesly and confidently weights and lighter cargo, like food. Instead of stumbling, like many robots, do, this one didn’t spill or drop anything.

Even when confrunted with an unexpected item, the tiny one avoided tripping. Unfortunately, Schaft hasn’t made plans for release, presenting it so far as just a cool concept.
